Here is a review of Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park by Nancy Grayson who visited the campground in September 2008:
"Surrounded by moutains with the Dolores River running thru the campground. Daytimes: awesome colors watching the sun rise and set on the moutainsides, and extrodinary wildlife viewing. Nightimes: warming around fire rings (fire wood provided) and then later lulled to sleep with the sound of the river making it's way south."

...Well maintained and very clean. Nice river running through park ...Great hiking trails around the park. At over 8,000 feet is nice and cool...."
"...We loved this campground. There are lots of sites on the river and the sites have space between them so you aren't jammed against your neighbor. Good fishing in the river. ..."
