Welcome to our review of W. P. Franklin North campground.
General Information:
Located on the Caloosahatchee River section of the Okeechobee Waterway, W. P. Franklin North Campground is one of three well-managed Corps of Engineers campgrounds on the Okeechobee Waterway.
Beautiful View:
Most of the 31 sites are river front and are spacious and private. According to the reservations website, the campground is on a peninsula that juts out onto the river with all sites being riverfront sites. Check with campground personnel for specific recommendations at the number below.

Campground Details:
The campground has 30 RV/tent sites, all with 50 amp electrical service and water hookup. All the RV sites are back-in except for one pull-thru and can accommodate RV lengths of up to 35 feet. There are also 8 boat sites. Other amenities at the campground include a dump station, potable water and modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers.
