Welcome to our review of Ortona South campground.
General Information:
Located on the Caloosahatchee River section of the Okeechobee Waterway, Ortona South Campground is another well-managed Corps of Engineers campground with many campsites having direct views of the river.
Beautiful View:
About half of the sites are river front and are spacious and private. According to the reservations website, sites 21-25, 26-30 and 32-40 are riverfront.

Campground Details:
The campground has 45 sites all with 50 amp electrical service and water hookup. 3 of the sites are pull-thru and the rest are back-in. Sites can accommodate RV lengths of 30-40 feet. Other amenities at the campground include a dump station, potable water and modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. The campground is open year round and the campground telephone number is (863) 675-8400.
